WHAT IS IKGDAR INJECTION?
Rituximab is a cancer medication that interferes with the growth and spread of cancer cells in the body. Rituximab is a monoclonal antibody. Monoclonal antibodies are a relatively new type of "targeted" cancer therapy.
USES OF IKGDAR INJECTION:
Ikgdar 100 Mg Injection acts as a monoclonal antibody. This drug is relatively new and is used to offer targeted therapy to treat cancer. Ikgdar 100 Mg Injection only targets cancer cells in the body, thus the drug is less harmful as compared to Ikgdar 100 Mg Injection radiation treatment.
Ikgdar 100 Mg Injection is used to treat chronic lymphocytic leukemia and some types of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS:
You may or may not experience any related side effects of Ikgdar 100 Mg Injection, such as fever accompanied with chills, nausea and vomiting, cough, headache, irritation of the throat and runny nose. If you do experience these side effects, do not be alarmed, just inform you doctor and he will provide medicine to control the symptoms.
Rituximab may cause a serious viral infection of the brain that can lead to disability or death. Call your doctor right away if you have any change in your mental state, thinking problems or confusion, decreased vision, or problems with speech or walking. These symptoms may start gradually and get worse quickly.
fever, chills, flu symptoms, pale skin, easy bruising or bleeding, feeling weak or tired,
ongoing cough, sinus pain, wheezing, or breathing problems; ongoing diarrhea and weight loss; headache, earache, warmth or swelling with skin redness.
pain or burning when you urinate; severe skin reaction--painful skin or mouth sores, or a severe skin rash with blistering, peeling, or pus;
liver problems--upper stomach pain, loss of appetite, dark urine, or jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes).
COMMON SIDE EFFECTS MAY INCLUDE:
There are a few rare but very serious side effects that can occur when you take Ikgdar 100 Mg Injection, such as pain in the chest, confusion and problems with breathing. Get in touch with the doctor immediately in this case and seek treatment.
Runny or stuffy nose, sneezing; nausea, diarrhea; muscle pain; or swelling in your hands or feet.

Signs of tumor cell breakdown--lower back pain, blood in your urine, little or no urinating; numbness or tingly feeling around your mouth; muscle weakness or tightness; fast or slow heart rate, weak pulse, trouble breathing; fainting.
Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self administer.
Ikgdar 100 mg Injection is a monoclonal antibody that specifically binds to receptors on cancer cells. Thus it flags the cancer cells for destruction by the body's immune system.
Seek immediate medical attention if you develop any severe skin and mouth reactions: painful sores or ulcers on the skin, lips, or mouth; blisters; rash; or peeling skin.
Use rituximab with extreme caution in children and elderly.
Rituximab may cause a serious viral infection of the brain or progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy that can lead to disability or death.
Consult your doctor immediately if you experience any change in your mental state, decreased vision, or problems with speech or walking.
Take precautions if you have or had any of the following medical conditions: hepatitis infection (rituximab could be fatal in such cases), any other infection such as (herpes, shingles, cytomegalovirus, etc.), systemic lupus erythematosus, heart problems (such as angina, palpitations or heart failure), lung disease or breathing problems, taken medicines which affect your immune system (such as chemotherapy or immune-suppressive medicines) or used certain arthritis medicines.
You may be asked to stop taking medicines for high blood pressure 12 hours before you receive rituximab as it may cause a fall in the blood pressure.
Avoid activities that may cause bruising or injury as rituximab may reduce the number of clot-forming cells (platelets) in your blood.
You may be monitored with regular blood tests before and during the treatment with rituximab to monitor your condition or check for side effects.
Do not receive live vaccine (such as measles, mumps, rubella and others) while using rituximab, and avoid contact with anyone who has recently received a live vaccine as there are chances that the virus could be passed on to you.
Use effective method of contraception while using and after 12 months after your last treatment with rituximab.
