WHAT IS LENOMUST ?
Lenalidomide is classified as an "immunomodulatory agent" and an "antiangiogenic agent". It affects all sorts of cell processes, including how cells divide and grow. It interferes with chemicals that cells use to signal to each other to grow. It affects how the immune system works and is called an immunomodulatory agent. It also stops tumours making their own blood vessels. To develop, all cancers need a blood supply.
Lenalidomide is a type of biological therapy drug. Lenalidomide is a treatment for myeloma and blood disorders called myelodysplastic syndromes. You may also have it as part of clinical trials for other types of cancer. For myeloma, lenalidomide may be given with another chemotherapy drug called melphalan and a steroid called dexamethasone.
5 Mg Capsule is used to treat anemia, which occurs in patients
suffering from myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). The drug is used in combination
with certain other medicines in the treatment of multiple myeloma (MM).
Some patients suffering from mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) may
also receive Lenomust 5 Mg Capsule treatment, as it is an immunomuodulator.
LENOMUST CAPSULE COMMON SIDE EFFECT:
Lenomust 5 Mg Capsule too leads to some side effects such as pain in the abdomen, infection of the upper respiratory tract or the urinary tract, dizziness, constipation, diarrhea, cough, edema, fatigue, muscle cramps, nausea etc. If these side effects do get worse, get in touch with your health care provider and seek relevant treatment.
The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur from all constituting ingredients of Lenomust Capsule. This is not a comprehensive list. These side-effects are possible, but do not always occur. Some of the side-effects may be rare but serious. Consult your doctor if you observe any of the following side-effects, especially if they do not go away.

LENOMUST CAPSULE - DRUG PRECAUTIONS:
Before using Lenomust Capsule, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert. Dosage is based on your condition. Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens. Important counseling points are listed below.
Avoid activities causing bruising or injury
Avoid contact with cold or infectious people
Do not donate blood, semen or serum during treatment or for 4 weeks after treatment
Do not drive or operate machines
Have risk of developing acute myelogenous leukemia, Hodgkin lymphoma tumor lyses syndrome, fatal liver problems, severe skin reactions and fatal heart problems during treatment
Monitor regular blood tests before and during the treatment.
LENOMUST CAPSULE - DRUG INTERACTIONS:
If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Lenomust Capsule may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions.
